La prévention et le traitement de la douleur de l’épaule après un accident vasculaire cérébral (AVC) sont reconnus sur le plan international comme hautement nécessaires pour la sécurité et la qualité de vie des patients. Nous avons élaboré un guide de bonnes pratiques qui présente les meilleures recommandations pour la prévention et le traitement des douleurs de l’épaule post-AVC chez l’adulte. Suite à une recherche structurée dans les bases de données bibliographiques, des recommandations pour la pratique clinique (RPC) internationales de bonne qualité existent sur ce sujet. Ainsi, notre rapport fournit un résumé des RPC existantes ainsi qu’un point de vue critique pour la bonne pratique clinique.

La prévention des thromboses veineuses est reconnue sur le plan international comme hautement nécessaire pour la sécurité des patients. Nous avons élaboré un guide de bonnes pratiques qui fournit des recommandations pour la prévention mécanique des thromboses veineuses chez les patients adultes admis à l’hôpital. Il couvre plus particulièrement: les chirurgies gastro-intestinale, gynécologique, thoracique et urologique, la neurochirurgie, la chirurgie cardiaque, la chirurgie vasculaire, les patients avec des cathéters veineux centraux, les patients sous traitement antiplaquettaire ou anticoagulant pour des raisons autres que la TEV, les traumatismes médullaires et les patients avec un cancer.

Lors d’un examen radiologique, les patients peuvent être sujets à des troubles émotionnels pouvant engendrer des artéfacts de mouvements, l’interruption de l’examen ou la nécessité d’une sédation. Pour réduire les sentiments d’anxiété et de claustrophobie, des interventions ont été évaluées. L’objet de ce document est de déterminer : Quelle est l’efficacité des stratégies visant à réduire les troubles émotionnels chez les patients passant un examen de radiologie médicale de haute technologie ? Il indique que les interventions testées comme l’information au patient ou les améliorations des appareillages constituent des stratégies à utiliser dans la pratique des Techniciens en Radiologie Médicale.
